After careers ranging from women's retail to teaching young children, I have found a comfortable way to be creative and help people feel beautiful and expressive.

I think my obsession with style and jewelry stems from my grandmother. When I was a little girl my favorite thing was going through her closets and drawers full of amazing accessories. She was, and still is the most beautiful woman to me. At the time, I truly believed she must be a secret movie star and millionaire to be able to wear and afford all of those sparkly and shiny baubles. But, now I realize that everyone can have gorgeous gems and jewels to match every outfit on a budget.

I believe jewelry should make a statement. Why wear it if it just goes unnoticed? This is how State Street Design was born.

So...pick a piece or two that expresses yourself and wear it with pride and confidence. You'll be surprised at how truly beautiful you will feel when you walk out the door and get noticed over and over again!
